1. Scope of Work
The Company will carry out an engine rebuild on the Vehicle as described in the attached work order. This includes all necessary parts, labor, and procedures to complete the rebuild to the Company’s standards.
2. Warranty Coverage
The Company provides a limited 12-month / 10,000 miles warranty for the engine rebuild under the following conditions:
2.1 Mandatory Service and Inspection
- To maintain the 12-month warranty, the Vehicle must be returned to the Company for an **oil service and inspection** within **6 months or 2,000 miles**, whichever comes first, from the date of the engine rebuild completion. Then from here on must be serviced within another 5,000 miles.
- Failure to complete this service and inspection within the specified timeframe will void the warranty.
2.2 Software Requirements
- The Vehicle must have **either stock engine software** or be fitted with an engine remap performed and approved by the Company.
- Any non-compliant software may result in immediate voiding of the warranty.
2.3 Third-Party Work
- The warranty will become void if **any person or entity other than employees of Williams Performance Ltd** works on **any part of the engine or fuel system** during the warranty period.
3. Engine Run-In Procedure
- The Vehicle’s engine must be fully run-in by the Company. This procedure includes **three oil changes** during the run-in process, all of which must be performed by the Company.
- The Customer acknowledges that failure to comply with this requirement will void the warranty.
4. Exclusions from Warranty
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by neglect, abuse, or improper maintenance.
- Failure resulting from the use of non-approved parts or fluids.
- Any repairs or modifications made by third parties.
- Incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to towing, loss of use, or diminished value.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- The Customer must operate the Vehicle in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines and the Company’s recommendations.
- The Customer must maintain all service records and provide proof of compliance with the terms of this Agreement when required.
6. Payment Terms
- Full payment for the engine rebuild service must be made prior to the Vehicle’s release, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising under this Agreement will be resolved through negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the parties agree to submit the matter to mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction].
8. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Company and the Customer concerning the engine rebuild service and supersedes all prior agreements, written or oral.
