A Very common failure with the V8 M3.
Rod bearings continue to be a sore subject among M3, M5 and M6 owners and in the S65 V8 they have been known to fail within 60,000 miles.
The car is required for 2 days due to the time required to correctly measure the crankshaft & bearings.
ARP Rod bolts can be fitted in replacement of OE
We also advise replacement of engine mounts as often we find these have separated and can cause poor engine movement under acceleration/deceleration.
